Wheel-thrown ceramic bowl. One of a kind. This piece was fired in a wood burning kiln.
The inside is fully glazed and food safe. I use my own glazes and that glaze based on ash and local clays. These tea bowl are forming by wheel-thrown and use mix of porcelain and ball clay. Natural wood fired. The piece is completely water tight and is high-fired stoneware. The glazes are food safe. The piece is also microwave and dishwasher safe, but I suggest washing by hand to avoid any damage.
Wood fired in my kiln in June 2018 / cone 9 (about 1280°C/2336°F/).
