Wheel-thrown ceramic stoneware goblet . One of a kind. This piece was fired in a wood burning kiln. The surface is a result from both the flame and ash that lands and melts on the piece.The inside is fully glazed and food safe. Chalice are forming by wheel-thrown and use mix of clays. Natural wood fired, rustic surface. The clay body impervious to water.Fired to 1230°C, making the pieces non porous, strong and durable for regular use.
Wood fired in my kiln in April 2017 using oak and pine (1230°C/2 246°F).
